Sprouts Farmers Market
Sprouts Farmers Market is a local business chain that emphasizes sustainable practices and living. Exclusively featuring produce grown in the local community or throughout Colorado, Sprouts offers organic, fair trade, and non-GMO options.
Sprouts strongly believes that healthy living starts with general well being and often puts on community events and classes that promote mental and physical health. If you’re just dipping your toes into the waters of healthy living, Sprouts makes it as easy as can be!
Real Farmers Market
Real Farmers Market is based in Louisville, about fifteen minutes from Broomfield, but well worth the trip! Running May through October, local farmers from the surrounding area are invited to sell and share their wares at this friendly and community oriented venue.
Real Farmers Market also involves local artisans to showcase their talent at the market through events held nearly once a week. Enjoy entertainment like dancing, live music, and more as you shop!
Broomfield Farmers Market at Holy Comforter
Starting in 2010, Holy Comforter started their own farmers market as an initiative to help create better access to fresh and local foods. Steadily growing since then, this venue now boasts 50 vendors and nearly 14,000 shoppers during market season.
Keeping inline with their original mission, Holy Comforter doubles SNAP benefits, offers vouchers to WIC recipients, and allows nonprofits to have vendor space for free. Acting as a community gathering space, this market not only allows local farmers to sell produce, but hosts free entertainment weekly, and has a children’s area with games and prizes.
